Problem with MoviePlayer from snapshot 23.01.04

Also ich hab den Punkt Ac3 aktiviern bei mir im Mennü nicht wie oben behauptet der wär nicht da und hab ihn auf ja stehen. Trotzdem tuts nicht....

Kai, wenn du mein posting meinst... ich kann nur "ac3 in avi-files erzwingen" aktivieren. ich hab aber keine avi`s um das mal zu testen. in den vorherigen snapshots gab es allgemein nur "ac3 aktivieren" das meinte ich.
mit transcode audio kann ich zwar mpeg2-filme mit dolby digital 2.0 ton hören(sehen natürlich auch) aber bei 5.1 ton hab ich das gleiche problem wie sska. achso, ich schaue nur filme über den movieplayer, die ich von prem. 1-2 ge-streamed habe.
ich verwende jetzt erstmal wieder einen snapshot von anfang januar...

auch wenn es bzgl. dieses Topics etwas off Topic ist. Mit dem Snap vom 31.01.04 geht ac3 in Verbindung mit VLC wieder.

I don't have any AC3 equipment.
with streaming_transcode_audio=1
i can hear only 2 rear channels (without a voice)

ich denke, dass die probleme in VLC ist.

Yes, I have tested with alexW2xImageV1.7.1.200401311128s.img.bz2
at playing DVD with
streaming_transcode_audio=0
sound was not present, but there is video
in alexW2xImageV1.7.1.200401231401s.img.bz2 it was not
but with streaming_transcode_audio=1, as before,
at playing DVD only 2 rear channels are audible.
without voice!!!

Oh thats bad. I will test a newer snapshot and will give you feedback. I haven't tested it yet. Hope the Problem is realy solved.

I guess you need an ac3 receiver/amplifier or for watching dvd`s a (cheap) stand alone dvd player.
I use the snapshot of 31st of january and it works fine again, before I had the same problem. could not hear voices with dd 5.1 movies.
I only use the movieplayer/vlc for watching mpeg2 movies what I have streamed on hdd... not for dvd movies.
I don`t know if it ever worked transcoding 5.1 to stereo via vlc/movieplayer. hope for you the devs will solve it.

ich habe einen ac3 receiver und stand alone dvd player.
und eine probleme - PC mit dvd + dbox2 mit movieplayer =
could not hear voices with dd 5.1 movies.
