Image Reinflashen und nix geht mehr

Moin - Die Box ging problemlos unter dem 28c-er flash

nun hab ich mir das updateflash geladen, netterweise mit netscape, was dazu führe das die datei nicht richtig rüberkam. Nix gemerkt und geflasht jetzt bleibt die box im endlosloop mit kein system stehen

also ich versucht mit dem neuen PPCBoot die richtige datei einzuspielen (mit dem Windows-clienten)

Erfolg: Lauter T T T T T und oben folgende Meldung

TFTP> Non-BootP TFTP-transfer requested "C\dbox2\tftpboot\kernel-flash"
TFTP> Couldn't initiate TFTP-transfer! (possibly file not found)

als würde der die flashdatei nicht finden - beim alten ocboot wars ja immer 13.img .. wie ist das beim neuen?

Probier mal die Box mit minflash wieder "geradezubiegen". Danach müssteste eigentlich wieder normal flashen können.

Hmm .. Also schreibschutz aufmachen und wieder neu in den debugmode?

hmm das wäre ne idee falls du was anderes meinst meld dich nochmal (allerdings bin ich jetzt nen paar tage im urlaub)

achso .. auf IE umsteigen kannste ansich vergessen - wenn dann der neue Mozilla - was kann ich dafür wenn sich irgendwelche server nicht an standarts halten? .. normal nehm ich aber zum laden nen anderes programm

So letzte mail für heute

weiß da draußen wer wie ich mittels ppcboot das flash rausbekomme? .. der ist nur verwirrt weil die checksum nicht stimmt .. oder besser wie ändert man von hand den pfad der datei die geflasht werden soll

hab das ppcboot_gcc_2.05.2_no........... am laufen damit komme ich zumindest ins system rein

der Minflash versuch klappte nicht, weil dein Bootloader nicht erkannt wurde. Saug dir mal die neueste tuner.so http://dbox2.elxsi.de/files/tuner.so

Dann funktioniert auch minflsh wieder. Anschließend probier nochmal das baseimage zu flashen. Sollte eigentlich funzen.

Also mit der aus dem Link kommt der selbe fehler

das ganze lief ja auch schon verrückterweise ... war glaube ich irgendwie 1.6er bootloader damals

Was haste denn überhaupt fürne Box?

Denn mit der tuner.so muss das gehen. Das is die neueste Version (1.8beta) und die erkennt auch neuere Boxen.

Also der Bootloader is glaube ich noch nicht geschrottet, da du ja noch "Kein System" bekommst. Sonst wär das LCD komplett tot, soweit ich weiß.

Kannste denn noch die YADD booten?

Also hab ne Philips Box, inzwischen fast nen Jahr alt, ursprünglich mit 1.5 ausgeliefert, im status 1.6 umgeflasht auf damals Flash18?

Hmm dann lief die mit sämtlichen releases, jetzt wollte ich den uptdatekernel reinbasteln, weil yadd seit neustem super lief

ist die neuste yadd - lief vorher problemlos

das problem ist vermute ich das die box verwirrt ist da der crc32 von dem gepackten image im flash im eimer ist ... irgendwie müsste ich das flash leeren können manuell dann würde es vermutlich wieder gehen, das problem ich kenn die befehle nicht und ne hilfe gibts dafür meineswissens auch net

dann probier dein flash mal über telnet komplett zu löschen. Der Bootloader bleibt dabei natürlich herhalten ;-)

1. Schreibschutz aufheben:
protect off 10020000 107fffff

2. Löschen
erase 10020000 107fffff

3. Box neustarten und kucken was die sagt.

4. Image flashen

5. Spaß haben

also das hab ich gemacht ... ejtzt kommt der dumme fehler endlich nicht mehr allerdings hab ich das ppcboot zum flashen das ich hatte zersäbelt grummel mal suchen ob ich mit nem anderen reingeflasht bekomme

bei yadd kommt zumindest das display mit neutrino auf der dbox

was soll den das gelabere von "probiers doch mal mit dem miniflash und der neueren tuner.so" ???

die box is doch im debug !!

nimm mal das ppcboot :

und probier dann mit dem ppcboot ganz normal zu flashen

Danke .. mit dem uralten flash gings dann wieder .. find ich lustig das der automatisch über internet aktualisiert - da ist das risiko das mir nochmal so nen scheiß passiert geringer
