if the services.xml has transponders with

Code: Alles auswählen

fec_inner="5"
then change them to

Code: Alles auswählen

fec_inner="4"
.
At least that's the difference of the services.xml between my dboxen and the dm500. And i seem to remember, that that's one of the FIXMEs that i had put in the code... :-)

for cables.xml it is different. Replace

Code: Alles auswählen

modulation="6"
with

Code: Alles auswählen

modulation="3"
At least that is, what enigma apparently is doing. Maybe in API V1 QAM_64 is equal to QAM_AUTO (== 6) which does not exist in V1.

btw: from reading the code, it should use a cables.xml put into /var/tuxbox/config/zapit/cables.xml, so if it does not work, please put sime printf()s in the code to find out why it fails.

From now on, please compile your own image for debugging, and put some debugging into it. I won't debug the cable issues like this.

Thanks. I will of course try to help, but having to build testimages is actually hard :-)
Use my patch, it is on the http://ulc.tuxbox-cvs.sourceforge.net/ upload-center, this thread contains a "howto build seife's Patch"- explanation a few posts back, and then i'd start inserting printf's in zapit.cpp near my "complete_filename"-printf, to find out why it does not find cables.xml inside /var/tuxbox...

something like (untested):

Code: Alles auswählen

        complete_filename = (std::string)ZAPITCONFIGDIR + "/" + filename;
        if ((stat(complete_filename.c_str(), &buf) == -1) && (errno == ENOENT)) {
printf("file %s does not exist\n", complete_filename.c_str());
                complete_filename = (std::string)DATADIR + "/" + filename;
        }
printf("complete_filename: %s\n", complete_filename.c_str());
        scanInputParser = parseXmlFile(complete_filename.c_str());
and then start debugging from there. Once it finds your cables.xml, edit it to contain "3" instead of "6" for modulation. Maybe this is already enough.
_IF_ it is, we can simply map "6" to "3", like enigma seems to do.

Good luck :-)

@seife und aller anderen.

@Riker: Hast du das gemacht?
