Komisch, komisch.
Ich habe seppos Rat befolgt und meine Netzwerktreiber aktualisiert. Und siehe da:
dbox.rar Methode liefert mir folgendes: (mit dem NEUTRINO LOGO auf meine Box!)

Wilkommen auf ihrer dbox2
druecken sie bitte einmal Enter
und danach geben sie ein
cat /dev/mtd/5 >/flash.img
das dauert ca 2 bis 5 minuten
dann kommt die Raute wieder
dann befindet sich in c: dbox2 cdkroot
die Datei flash.img , die ganz genau 8257536 Bytes
gross sein solte !
das ist dann ihr backup Flashimage das sie gut aufheben sollten
danach koennen sie die dbox2 einfach ausmachen

Dann passierte nix, weder in 2, noch in 5 noch in 12 Minuten. Das File flash.img bleibt auf meiner Pladde eisern auf 0 Bytes...
Da war ich schon fast am Heulen. Habe mir aber gedacht, ich versuchs mal mit dem dbox2 Manager und siehe da:

Jippie! Ich habe ein IMAGE!!!!
Aber: zu früh gefreut:
das image ist 8.388.608 Bytes gross!
Bei der dbox2.rar Methode wird jedoch extra geschrieben es darf nur 8257536 Bytes gross sein.
Habe ich jetzt ein funktionierendes IMAGE? Vor allem stutzig machte mich der Fehler "len bad 4
6 < 84".
Kann mir von Euch jemand sagen, ob ich jetzt "gefahrlos" Linux flashen kann??
