Neutrino 1.7.1 - Newbie questions

hello all,

i just got a Sagem dbox2 box, so i have some questions...
(i cant find documentation in English..)

First of all i have to change lnb/diseqc settings..
I have in DiseqcA hotbird and in DiseqcB Astra
The box probably has Astra in DisecqA, so i cant see a picture.. How can i change this ?

The box has an httpd running but i can only change channels, not settings..

The box came without a remote control.. But i have several programmable ones.. Is there any way to use one of them ?

Goto <dbox-key> Settings -> Services -> Channel Search -> Disqec Settings. Adapt the Diseqc numbers for your satellites to your need.

As an alternative you can use network connection to correct your settings:

telnet <dbox-ip>
(user:) root
(password:) dbox2

cd /var/tuxbox/config/

look around in the config files... (use vi to edit them)
In your case you have to adapt "scan.conf"



... and yes you can try an programmable remote, but I recommend to buy an original one (e.g. ebay)

In my scan.conf has the following lines:

SatName10=Astra 19.2E
SatName8=Eutelsat 13.0E
...............
satDiseqc10=1
satDiseqc8=0

are these right to have Diseqc A on hotbird and Disecq B on Astra ?

with these settings i can see Hotbird channels but not Astra channels...

so i got new xml files, uploaded on the dbox, and both satellites work fine..

I did also a scan of Astra & Eutelsat.

For some reasons the demux crashes(? first guess) on Eutelsat transponders, so high Eutelsat and following Astra transponder scan is failing...
