flashing stage

i have began flashing the box with the null cable & cross over cable connected.

the tv channel automatically changed to the dbox2 channel(via scart)

on the tv it now has 3 boxes....with the main (middle) box being ..

"dbox2 flashingassisten
is working on your dbox

theres no progress bar at all and not sure if its working or not...what should i do? on the lcd screen it says " dbox2 flashingassistent. hallenberg.com

been 10 minutes like this an npothing is ...no status change on the box. is it because i got to of the cables in? should i take one out?
or should i click ok to the IFA screen even though i dont know if it is

did you selected the correct comport? If you select the wrong, no messages appear in the ifa-window. It should look like this:

When it's , a popup should notify you about it.

any way around this? the ifa box is blank

the cable is not a nullmodemcable

perhaps you try the method without nullmodemcable, should work too, because the logos are displayed at lcd and television.

cheers mate. did it with just cross over cable.

its says flashing on my lcd display. can you give me the final steps for what to do please. it doesn't say anyhting on the ifa boa. just the ok & cancel button. should i just press ok and sswitch off the power and start it again?

press ok, switch off the box and remove the cables.
