Ftp problems.

HI, second post and again asking for help.
Been using my dbox2 for a month no problems. Its a nok 2Xi with the nutrino image, yesterday i tried to alter services.xml but i can't do any thing to it, rename delete or overwrite, it has been working fine and was able to alter. so i though about a reflash, can't reflash it either the box. this before with no problems too.

it boots and works ok though. went to tux commander and tried to delete the file through there and can't do it throught there either it gives an error.
Its as if the box is read only.

any ideas any body ???

The jffs2 partition seems to be full, even deleting something needs some space (sounds crazy, but it's true).

Only a complete reflash will help you. If you encounter any problems during that, please post more details about how you try to do it (settings, COM-log).

I use dbox2 image flashing assistent. , have used in the past no problem., and flashed with it no problem. now it comes on the lcd flashing but stays like this, i left it for 20 minutes but nothing, switched the box off at the power, powered on and it was the same as before, nothing had flashed.

So it's an jffs2-only image. If you are unable to write anything to the box, the partition is corrupt and you need to reflash the box.

Just got a dbox this week worked fine,edited the keys etc, working great but can not ftp, just get permision errors.

Any tuts on flashing that are in English, and any English versions of bootmanger.

You can get a English Version of ImageFlashingAssistant and if you are able to use google you will find a lot on UK Forums about the DBOX.
