hi there,

can anyone help??

nokia dbox2...

i tried flashing the box and it flashed came up with the message flashing . so i switched off the box and switched it on again.

now it doent load on the tv anymore!

not when i switch on the box its just stick on the screen (lcd screen) saying the versions of hardware...bmon v1.0 mID 01....
then at the bottom it says kien system.

It used to load on my tv ok and yadi used to come up on the beginning then i can try to search for channels (havent located any channels yet as i just been trying to get the box to work for the first time today).

how can i get it to work again?

Reflash it again and use a correct image for your box (for 2 flashs).

am just trying to get the normal uk ntl basic channels?

the yadi version use to be 2.0.0.7 but cannot find that

Did you try "Cable BF" as "Provider"? I can't be of any big help here - neither have cable nor living in the UK

can't seem to get into the program yet as in veiw the setup on the tv.

I have the same problem. nokia dbox2 BMon v1.0 " Kein system" at bottom of box display.

Do I need to reflash neutrino?

i now get the dbox trying to start up. Autoboot starts, the tv presents a yadi screen , it starts loading kernel and after about two minutes, it reboots and repeats the same process.

Once again any help most appreciated

please check...

- was image downloaded correctly? (binary not text download)
- did you flash the correct image (2x or 1x)?
- did you upload proper ucodes?

if this is not working please provide bootlog

all i can see at the moment is the lcd screen with the versions & kein system on there. don't what to do as i cant find the right flash for it. i flashed it with the wrong image should've flashed with 2x but flashed with 1x

Just use or google for a Software Called ImageFLashingAssistant and you need no knowledge of the DBOX at all.
You can just flash the Box with a 2x Intel Image

looking for the image though.....in nw london so trying to find the best image.
i no longer no the ip address of the system, i am using a cross over cable.

so i cannot connect to the box anymore.

am just stuck at the kein system. am a complete novice to this.DOH!

have i buggered up the box completely?

The box is still ok, you just erased the operating system from it (or flashed some garbage)...

Get e.g. the dbox2bootmanager, connect cross- (serial) cable and network to the box and "just" reflash the correct image.

The IP address will be assigned using "rarp" to the dbox2 during boot procedure (similar to dhcp). Type in a IP address for the dbox2 (different to any ip address in your current network, but within the same subnet) into the dbox2bootmanager...

And just click on "Image flashen"...


Do not try to bring the dbox2 into debug mode, again! (the box is already in debugmode...)

I'm not sure what happened with mine. I kept having problems with the image flashing assistant and then dbox2 bootmanager was no problem. Somehow seemed to be missing ucodes from last flash but reflashed again and all is good.
