Hello!

I'm spanish and my english is very bad.

The problem that I have is that my Nokia dbox2 is blocked. It happens when is many hours in stand by. After It don't react to anything. I have disconnect it of the electric.

Can It be by the processor is hot?

That's a known problem and there are several dozens of postings here concerning Nokia dboxes just stopping to respond.

I have a SAT-Nokia myself which produces a "Bad Emulation" after a while having me think that the RAM gets corrupted which leads to crashes and segmentation faults.

People have tried loads of combinations. If you use the latest official images you can try to fiddle with the "watchdog"-settings.

There is no one for all solution. You could try to cool down the processor (pretty hot in spain, eh? ) but it's no guarantee. The CPU was designed to run without cooling but it can't hurt, can it?

You could also try to gather some insight from the console log.

I think that is a hardware's problem.

I am spanish too, and I have the same problem, maybe we can try to install one big AC device in our small a pretty nice dbox......
