CANT CONNECT TO TELNET VIA FTP

HI ALL

JUST RECIEVED MY DBOX AND IM TRYING TO LINK IT UPTO PC , I HAVE PLUGGED IN SERIAL NULL MODEM CABLE AND CROSSOVER NET CABLE INTO MY NIC SLOT , I CHANGED MY IP SETTING ON PC TO THE ONES ON DBOX BUT WHEN I TYPE IN COMMAND PROMPT TELNET <IP OF DBOX> I GET THE ERROR MESSAGE **COULD NOT OPEN CONNECTION TO THE HOST ON PORT 23 CONNECTION FAILED**

Is there a Linux on the box, if not you have to put it to debug and flash it with Linux, but read the howto's on http://www.dietmar-h.net/ carefully. After you have put your box to debug, you have to save the original BetaNova software, to extract the ucodes. These are drivers, you need them in the linux-images. After you have read out the Beta-Nova-Software and extracted the ucodes, save them all on a CD and keep it carefully.

sorry mate thanks for the info connected now , just need 2 find out where to put services file now

Under Neutrino you have to put services.xml and bouquets.xml to /var/tuxbox/config/zapit/. After that, you have to reset the box with the power button and the arrow up button on the box.
