Flashing without a null modem cable

I have been trying like hell to get my D-Box to work properly for ages. It appears to be working fine, however, approximately once or twice per hour, the decryption fails, forcing me to reboot the box. It only happens on certain channels, and can sometimes correct its self.

I have tried to flash a new image, but it will not let me. I am using IFA with a crossover cable, and am sure all the settings are correct, yet when I restart the box to begin the flash process, it will not boot from the PC it only boots Neutrino. Debug mode has already been enabled as I am running Neutrino NG.

I am trying to put Yadi squashfs head in the box, but do not know how to flash it.

you have to use a a null modem cable.

It looks like your Linux is booting ok. So why you are not using the build in functions to update your dbox? Please have a look to your "service" menue.
