i tried to upgrade my dbox2 (nokia with 2 intel flash), now it continously "RESET", how can i reanimate it again & where can i find an ENGLISH faq to do so (please in english)

Wow, 20 Views & no reply!!! AnyWay, i found my way, now the box shows the needed 'Lade ...'

Hi nacer, did you finish the Problem with the minflash or how did you fix your Problem? I think that the only possible Way is to run the minflash in the BootManager from Field. This may be the easyest way your problem because you dont need to switch off your flash to enable the debug mode. The flash is empty and so you can't extract anything from the files you upload from yor box.

I hope you anderstand me, my englich is not very well.

yes, just used minflash, & i got the famous 'Lade...'

I think i have way to help you about your d-box ...

Let me know how things going until now, and i will try to explane you what you have to do, and what kind of files you need ...

I hopw you already have null-modem cable, crossed network cable, and d-box soldered with jumpers for debugging ...

Lets try to fix this

i think the problem is't still a problem!

JEPP, there must be still a problem. 1. Bootmanager from field, min****
is needed. Please use the untar-utils do decompress. Change the tuner.so
in the minflsh-folder, connect the Box to your PC with 10MBit Ethernet (!)
and Nullmodemcable Serial. Start the DBBM (RARP, NFS and BOOTP on, Folder min***). If you got a Ping-request you have to short two Pins in your Box ( eSagem, Phi*** and Nokia are different), try if help and mount are working- if yes, short away and disable Writeprotect from the flash ( short another Pins depending of your Box), Script enable debug with min*** and then the DEBUGMODE should be enabled. Note: if help goes, mount not you can try to mount again from hand(mount 192.168.1.1:c/minflsh/ ). Please use Privat IPs- as i show you. After that you can flash an image ( first try 28c from tuxbox). You need also the ucodes (camalpha.bin, ucodes.bin and AviaXXX). Copy this files to ucode via FTP, than Scan the transponder- life is back in your Box. For more infos, please post the type of your box...
