message box binary

hi i was wondering if any one could help me with the messagebox function for the dbox 2

i know if you telnet to the box i can call from /var/bin and create a message on the screen , but from reading the help meesage output of the binary i see that it also suports up to three buttons as iwish to include this functionality within a script i wondered if anyone could direct me to the readme file referenced by the messagebox output or provide me with any ifo on its functionality. I can of course send a msgbox with three buttons quite easily all i realy want to know is how to figure out wich button a user pressed
