Is it possible to get plugins for neutrino as bin files to install ?
I am looking for tuxwetter and tuxmail as bin ....do they exist ?
I cannot find any link on wiki site ?
Also is it possible to download plugins from the internet directly to neutrino ? I keep getting an error that the page does not exist on the internet download in the software update screen.

For tuxmail look here, http://www.jackthegrabber.de/viewtopic. ... 9750#69750
For tuxweather look here http://www.jackthegrabber.de/viewtopic.php?t=6030
If you want to have the weatherforecast from tuxweather in english, don't install the file convert.list.
There is also a list at http://www.jackthegrabber.de/viewtopic.php?t=7663 of our plugin-quickfinder we have at the Jack the Grabber-Site.
But at first you have to register and login at http://www.jackthegrabber.de to be able to download the plugins.

Sorry, there are 2 more files you need for tuxmail, tuxmail.cfg and tuxmaild. In a few minutes I put all the files together, you will need and post you a new download link. But for doing this, I have a question, do you need tuxmail for the dbox2 or for the dreambox?
For the installation, there is a howto at the tuxbox-wiki-site, that you have already found. http://wiki.tuxbox-cvs.sourceforge.net/Plugins:E-Mail . If you have problems with the german language, try babelfish.
No, its not possible to downlad plugins direktly from the internet to the dbox.

Hello byter,
I made a new Downloadlink for you at the JtG-Site.
It includes all the files for Dreambox and Dbox2.
Downloadlink.
I think you'll need the files from the dreambox-directory and have to install them like it is shown at the structure from the dbox-directory in the zip-archive-file.
I am very interested how you can manage it, to integrate the tuxmail-plugin on neutrino on the dreambox. Please report it to me at the JtG-Site at this discussion-thread. There I'll give some more support if you need it.

OK. Just to clarify I do not need to install any files which are under the dbox2 folder ?
I will try the install tomorrow and let you know the result. Has the install never been before on dreambox ?
Just to clarify what is the difference between dbox2 and dreambox ??
Also do i need to modify any of files before ? If so i will need to read the wiki site to find out the configuration ? If not i need to read the site after installing the files ?
thanks for your help once more

Eventually you will need the files, standby.on and standby.off, but they are not nessacary for the funktion of the plugin. They only stop and start the mailaccess if you switch your box to standby. The most necassary thing is to start tuxmaild automatically in your startup files. I think this might be start_neutrino or rcS. Sorry, I don't know the files structure on a Dreambox-Neutrino.OK. Just to clarify I do not need to install any files which are under the dbox2 folder ?
In one of these files ( better rcS) you have to integrate the following code.
Code: Alles auswählen
if [ -e /var/etc/.tuxmaild ] ; then
if [ -e /var/bin/tuxmaild ] ; then
/var/bin/tuxmaild
else
/bin/tuxmaild
