service scan

hello everybody im having problems with picking up trasponders when ever i do a service scan it says successfull but all i get is the channel listing and a blank screen with channel not available im sure i have connected everything ok tryed a few service files and images but no luck the transponders section on the scan just stays blank i have had my box for the past two weeks now with no luck what so ever somone told me it might be the ucodes but im not to sure or know very much about them any help would be appreciated thank you.
