flashed wrong image

help!! flashed wrong image onto nokia d box 2 and now it won't load up and i cant connect to it either I cant find out its ip add. Can anyone help??

You have to reflash a correct image using a dbox flash tool.

ok thanks but can you do it through a ethernet cable?

Hi,
yes, of course ... But to be on the safe side, its best to use a ethernet- and a"null modem"-cable, because the error-messages from the dBox are transmittet via the serial output.
Try it with the "D-BOX Imageflashingassistent Version 2.0" from hallenberg.com ...

yeah hi got the dbox flashing programme but it cant ping the dbox and it fails to flash so was gonna go down the shop and see if you can get a rs232 to usb as i aint got rs232 on my pc this should give a dirtect connection .... Shouldn't it!??

Hi,
if you can't ping the dBox, then your network (LAN) is not properly set. Set your Network-Interface on 10 MBit / Half-Duplex, disable Virusscanner and Firewall. If you got an HyperThreading-CPU, disable this Feature via BIOS ...
