I have a box that won't boot, boot log is below, anyone know what "File 8!" is? (File 8! not found: Invalid argument)

Thanks for the reply, I don't know if this box has ever worked, it belongs to a friend who tried to flash it. It now will not communicate over ethernet at all. I have flashed it several times with various images over the comport with hyperterminal but still no good. Nothing on the TV screen at all and the LCD screen just shows the debug screen, then Betareseach, then debug etc....

seems that the flash content has been destroyed. You have to flash a new image.

Ok, a boot log using IFA is below, but as I said, the ethernet port on the box won't work. I know it is not my computer or network as another box flashes fine.
The only way I have been able to flash an image to this box is with hyperterminal and com port only, but it still won't boot!
Thanks again

I have just tried reflashing again with a neutrino yadi 2x image
As I can only access with comport this is what I did...
Bits per second – 9600
Data bits – 8
Parity – None
Stop bits – 1
Flow control – Xon/Xoff
dl 800000
Send as a text file “u-boot.mot"
chorus 800000
This appears to successfully run u-boot.mot as it appears on the LCD display!
loadb 120000 115200
I then disconnect, set to 115200 and reconnect.
I then transfer the image using Kermit, afterwards I get
“## total size = 0x007E0000 = 8257536 bytesâ€
“## start ADDR = 0x00120000â€
“## Switch baud rate to 9600 bps and press ESCâ€
So it looks like it worked OK. I switch back to 9600
Then I type..
“protect off 10020000 107fffffâ€
“erase 10020000 107fffffâ€
"cp.l 120000 10020000 1f8000"
Then "Done" appears in Hyper Terminal, so it all looks good..
But after removing the com lead and re-booting I have the same problem.
Is it worth trying the below...
1. Flash a full image across including boot loader? If so do I need to change the commands to flash more than 70 sectors?
2. Try Flashing the B-Mon chips (It's Bmon 1.0), if so can anyone advise the commands/sectors for Hyper Terminal?
Thanks in Advance
