Mich stinkt das auch jedes mal an aber der Bootmanager wird nun mal nicht mehr weiterentwickelt.

Die boot.ini befindet sich im Hauptpfad deines Bootlaufwerkes.Und was mach ich jetzt? So und kann ich in XP noch was einstellen? Wenn ja, wo?
Wie man sie bearbeitet ist hier erklärt.
