Probleme mit YADD

Moin!

Habe jetzt schon eine ganze Weile probiert und viel gelesen,doch irgendwie komme ich nicht weiter.
Das Problem ist ich habe auf meiner Box das AlexW Image 1.5,wollte aber auch mal andere Sachen probieren,sprich Lcars usw..Ich wollte aber nicht jedesmal das Image flashen und dachte es mit Yadd vom PC aus zu starten.Habe mich auch genau an die Beschreibungen dazu gehalten,läuft auch alles super an jedoch wenn der DBoxBootmanager versucht das Verzeichnis zu mounten bekomme ich eine Fehler : "NFS not mount" oder so.Frage 1 wo liegt mein Fehler,Frage 2 ist es notwendig ein Nullmodemkabel angeschlossen zu haben oder genügt das Netzwerkkabel?

NFS not mount liegt wohl am nicht laufenden NFS-Server. Oder an der Firewall, oder...
Die Yadd startet auch ohne Nullmodem, aber es erleichter die Fehlersuche ungemein.

Welche Gründe könne vorliegen,dass der NFS Server nicht läuft?
Also Firewall ist nicht vorhanden,jedoch ein Virenscanner.Ja und das Nullmodemkabel will ich sowieso noch verlegen.

Die Einstellungen für die Yadd stimmen?
Evtl. blockiert auch Dein Virenscanner was.

Also hab eigentlich alles so gemacht,wie es in der Beschreibung steht.

Hier nochmal zum nachvollziehen:

1. Verzeichnis C:\dbox2 angelegt
2. aus dem Yadd.tar das ppcboot und kernel nach c:\dbox2\tftpboot kopiert
3. im Bootmanager bei BootP c:\dbox2\tftpboot\ppcboot ausgewählt
4. das komplette Verzeichnis cdkroot aus dem Yadd.tar nach c:\dbox2 kopiert
5 im Bootmanager bei NFS Server c:\dbox2\cdkroot eingetragen

Sollte doch alles soweit richtig sein?

Das sollte soweit passen. (Du hast schon mit den untar-utils entpackt?)
Wie sieht denn Dein Netzwerklog (grauer Kasten) aus?

Entpackt habe ich das ganze natürlich mit den dazugehörigen Tools.
Der graue Kasten bringt folgendes:

Danach ist Schluss,die Box bleibt bei Neutrino im Display stehen und im Bootmanager steht uneten Started... ,dann laufen die RX und TX Zahlen und das Ping kommt auch.

Hm, dann hat das mit dem mounten auch geklappt.
Jetzt wär ein Nullmodem fein, dann sieht man eher wo es fehlt.
Den neuesten Bootmanager hast Du schon?

Tja Nullmodemkabel muss ich wohl bis Montag warten,da ich ein etwas längeres benötige.Und emin Bootmanager hat die Version 3.2.0.354.

sieht eigentlich gut aus aber bedenke:

auch eine YADD läuft ohne Ucodes nicht, sind die drin?

heyhey, war ja jetzt nicht persönlich gemeint, ist nur halt so daß das auch oft vergessen wird.
da werden wir jetzt wohl bis montag auf das Nullmodemkabel warten müssen und dann mal ins Log schaun

Habe ich auch nicht persönlich genommen,ist vielleicht von mir blöd rüber gekommen.Bin gerade dabei mein Nullmodemkabel zusammen zubasteln,also wirds vielleicht heute noch was.

So ich glaub das Problem hat sich erledigt,da ich ebend lcars gestartet habe und das läuft ohne probs.Schätze mal liegt an der Yadd Version.
