Hi Guys,
I downloaded a set of channel files on to my Dbox2 Sat (satellites.xml, bouquets and services) and everything was working OK. Now I can't get any channels at all. All I get is "Service could not be found" on any channel on any satellite. Does anyone have any idea what I could have wrong ? I have looked at the LNB settings, but I think they are OK.
Can anyone help ?
Regards,
GAH

Hi,
It is Enigma, and I can't mention which version as it's an unofficial version. I had it working OK, but now I can't get any channels at all. It is as if I had switched off the LNB. Is there any setting you know of that I should check ? (The LNB is working OK in analogue, looping through the Dbox2 into my Pace MSS 500)
Regards,
GAH

So langsam gehts mir auf den geist: Nur weil jemand eine unoffizielle Version hat, ist das gleich eine illegale. Mag in vielen Fällen zutreffen, aber wie schon öfter mal gesagt, alexW heisst nicht offiziell. Vielleicht hat ja jemand einfach was selbst compiliert?
GAH: the settings-format changed some time ago. Look at the first line, it should contain a /2/. if it contains a /1/, it's an old version -> not working with the new version. You can convert them using a channel editor.
by the way: satellites.xml is needed only for the channelsearch, and it's used by neutrino AND enigma.

Hi tmbinc,
Thanks for trying to help me. Unfortunately, after my last post I downloaded another channel list and my box locked up and wouldn't re-boot. I assumed that all I would have to do is re-flash the box again. However, no matter what I try, the box will not go into the flash update mode. It keeps starting Enigma, and I get some kind of boot-up log in the COM-Terminal screen. It eventually finishes with the box going into stand-by mode and this message at the bottom of the log :
killall: nmbd: no processes killed
/bin/nmbd: no such file or directory
Segmentation fault
CXA2092 found
sending SIGKILL to all processes
The system is halted. Please reboot or turn power off
System halt
When I look at near the start of the log in the COM-Terminal window, I notice these lines :
debug: Transmitting Bootp request in broadcast
debug: Given up BOOT/TFTP boot
boot net failed
No matter what I do, the box will not go into flash mode, preferring instead to start Enigma, and then going into stand-by.For the record, I am using the same network cable, the same nullmodem cable, the same version of BootManager, and the same PC as before when I flashed the box successfully. The only thing I can think of is that the IP address I am using in Bootmanager to flash the box again, is not the IP address that is actually in the box. Can you suggest anything I can try ?

GAH
