Hi people,

First of all, I'm sorry I can't write in German. I understand it a little but I can't write without making 10 mistakes in 1 sentence.

I like enigma a lot, I'm using it in my dreambox dm7000s. What I'd like to request is to keep the IP information, the rotor settings and perhaps also the language settings apart from the registry, in a way that it can be restored easily. I'm using a VBOX2 positioning system, there are nearly 20 satellites I have to reprogram every time i upload a newer image.

@kerlimann: dafür sinds wenigstens nicht wie bei dir 10 inhaltliche fehler pro satz.

basix: restoring the whole registry is not an option? usually this is possible, there a very few upgrades where this is not supported (the last one was the introduction of namespaces)

i asked the kind developer of dreamboxedit from happyllama.com if it was possible to backup those setttings too, he said that it would cause problems if the registry layout changes in newer versions of enigma.
That's actually why I asked if it was possible to keep those settings apart.
should I tell him to include this file when backing up the dreambox settings (would it do harm?)

we designed the configuration read/write stuff to be backward compatible as long as possible, so all configuration can be kept.

Ich habe einen Rechner im Netz der Filme freugibt aber ich würde mich richtig freuen wenn ich die Filme alles Mpeg2 on DVB von der Dbox aufgenommen auch mit ihr wieder abspielen könnte!
