yes in 28c the network adress is 192.168.0.202

ok do following

boot from flash

look in the serieal terminal

there will come a menue

for 2 seconds you will be able to choose something

1 for console on fb
2 for console on ttys0

press 2 (but be fast !!!)

the you will see a lot of debug output on the seriel terminal (all linux booting messages)

On the mainboard of the dbox the RS232 is controled by the 75LV4737A CHIP.
Where the pin 3 of serial connector would have connected?

you can see nothing in the console ?
Do you use a null modem cable ?
Have you switched the com speed within the Boot Manager to 9600 baud ?

But anyhow. Do you already recognized that you go every day one step

On ebay I don't found nothing...

My dbox start, but is not able to keep the memory... ...and the rs232 controller is burned (probably who before me used the dbox made the disaster).

But whithout serial is not possible to flash the dbox?
The serial is needed only for communications not for execute command right?

I think after the 1st restart, my dbox in not able to read the partition whit the cramfs filesystem.

I translate the english.locale in italian.locale for the language on the dbox, I need to send this file to derget?
