ppcboot nicht ladendes

Ich habe bereits zwei dboxes 2xIntel Bmon1.0 in debug Modus mit der methode http:-//www.dietmar-h.net/mhc_debugn2xi.html ausprüfen.

Ich habe ein Problem mit einem anderen dbox.

Der dbox lädt nicht normalerweise auf, lädt er oben bis zu "Ihre d-box wird gestartet" auf und geht nicht weiter.

Ich hoffe, daß er in gesetzt werden kann im debugModus.

Ich erhalte, insoweit "chorus 800000" aber der Befehl nicht durchführt.

Ich habe beachtet, daß das MAC address in bootmanger nicht dasselbe wie das MAC address auf dem Aufkleber auf der Rückseite des dbox ist.

I have already got 2 2xIntel Bmon 1.0 boxes into debug mode using the http://www.dietmar-h.net/mhc_debugn2xi.html method.

I have a problem with another dbox.

The box does not boot normally, it boots up as far as "Ihre d-box wird gestartet" and goes no further.

I am hoping that it can be put into debug mode. I get as far as "chorus 800000" but the command does not complete.

I have noticed that the MAC address in bootmanger is not the same as the MAC address on the sticker on the back of the dbox.

Does the Box reset after "DRAM: (faked) 32 MB"?

Maybe it just has got 16MB RAM - in this case it reads "01DD10081 160008" in the LCD when booting with arrow-up key pressed.

ppcboot has 32MB hardcoded, you can use u-boot from any yadd to boot the Box and run the commands to get into debug mode.

Correct, it simply goes into a reset loop again......and the box is a 160008 box.

Ich habe eine weitere Frage. Mit einem 16mb dbox bin es möglich, ein neues image mit ftp zu hochladen?

Ich habe versucht mit ftp zu hochladen und ich habe zur Unterstützung image zu /tmp versucht. Das dbox scheint, aus Raum heraus zu laufen.

Ist dieser Normal, oder gibt es eine bessere Methode?

An Image has 8MB, the kernel and running apps also take up some space - so it's possible to "overflow" the 16MB because /tmp resides in ram too.

Either try to get the mem-extension-board that's missing or flash the way you just did - using an image in /tmp won't do the trick if your apps take up to much ram.

This is a German board so I "try" to post in German.........I don't have the attitude that "everyone" should understand English. Swedish is my second language, not exactly a world language though.
