cant get to debug

hello, i can get my box (nokia 2x) to reset mode - continually resetting, but cannot get past this.
i have been using a tutorial which says i now need to connect pin 12 to gnd. this got me further in but without the correct results. i reset again and now the box keeps resetting - i cannot get past this with the 12->gnd switch.

can anyone help?

thanks for the reply, can this move or should i post again?

box has bmon 1.0 and i'm using a tut translated from here. http://www.dietmar-h.net/mhc_debugn2xi.html. All goes ok till "prot off 1:0" i get no reply on the terminal window.
the next command returns an error about unable to write to flash.

i rebooted the box and it now keeps resetting...

any clues would be gratefully received!

Update:

got it!!!

after getting no response to the "prot off" command, i tried "prot" on it's own.
then prot off 1:0 again. this time i got the unprotect message
i have carried on and it has flashed an image (sportster 1.7) so i think i am now in debug.
i reset the box and it started flashing again - doh!

i'm now waiting for it to finish again and i will try a reset without the pc attached...



sportster loaded!!
bouquets & games can wait.

dont know how i got in this situation, but looks like the prot got me out of it.

hope this works for others if they get to the same spot...

And I hope for ypu that you start reading the Board rules as Images containing E (m) U's are not allowed or tolerated on this forum.
