May I say outstanding forum well to you all
If any of my questions are stupid I'll say sorry now.
I'm interested in a dbox and looking for your advice. Where I live NTL has a MMDS service. My question is should I go for a cable dbox or should I put up a dish and go with a sat dbox?
Does the sat get more and which sat should I pick up.
If any of the above cannot be discusssed I understand and I do not intend to offend anyone.

I think the MMDS is a combination of terestial and cable and if I am right in thinking what you have in mind the answer is no.

To the Sat question again,

Uncle Murdoch is using Private EPG so even if you receive the BBC and ITV Channels you will only see what is on now and next and you would need an external source to update the EPG so the Dbox can provide you with the EPG.

The rest of the FTA Stations are only FTV (FreeToView) and you need the Blue Card with the Yellow House for them. Unfortunately is the original Dbox Card Reader/Hardware unable to read this Card and we do no support any other Hardware Mods in this specific forum.
