Zickenalarm - Philips 2 x Intel

Moin,

hab hier eine Philips-Box, die ich auf Linux umbauen möchte.

- Box lief fehlerfrei unter BN (OK, soweit man das als "fehlerfrei" bezeichnen kann ;))
- Debug ist enabled, war kein Problem
- Basisimage 1.6.3 geflasht
- Nach x Versuchen auch cdk.cramfs vom 7.10.02 21:27 geflasht bekommen.

Wenn die Box auf die Flashbausteine zugreifen will, hängt sie sich auf und der "Wachhund" mach nen Reset. Das Gnaze kann ich stundenlang im Kreis laufen lassen :(

Testhalber auch mal wieder auf *sic* BN zurückgeflasht - läuft problemlos.

So, jetzt hab ich das Basisimage nochmal geflasht, mit "dbox2.rar" wieder ausgelesen und binär verglichen - vollkommen identisch. An den Flashbausteinen kann es dann ja eigentlich nicht liegen. "dbox2.rar" mounted das Flash ja auch fehlerfrei. Muss wohl was am neueren Kernel sein - aber was?

und danach geben sie ein
cat /dev/mtd/5 >/flash.img
das dauert ca 2 bis 5 minuten
dann kommt die Raute wieder
dann befindet sich in c: dbox2 cdkroot 
die Datei flash.img , die ganz genau 8257536 Bytes
gross sein solte !
das ist dann ihr backup Flashimage das sie gut aufheben sollten
danach koennen sie die dbox2 einfach ausmachen

Ist ja zum Wegschmeissen. Jetzt hab ich im Kernel das printk disabled (sofortiger "goto out;") und die Box geht.

Kann sich da jemand nen Reim drauf machen? :-?
