if i could know how to repair it it will be great, but it always hangs...

probably i should upload ucodes, but i dont know how to connect to FTP... which IPs do i have to use (i use 192.168.5.3 for PC and 192.168.5.7 for dbox)

Normaly after flashing yadi (since v1.9.02), it starts with an LCD boot menu that automatically starts the "Neutrino" entry after few seconds of no user action. Listen to the serial interface during boot up. Try pressing "OK" on your remote control until a language dialog appears on your tv screen. Network can then be configured.

Probably. For that the dbox can boot over network with a yadd installed on your harddisk.

Don't know... try to find the right settings for your remote control...

i have now solved all the above problems (well not all :-? )...
dbox2 is now running on alexW neutrino (latest snapshot) image.

Now i know that there is something wrong with LCD, so i shut it down in settings.

BUT it only runs becouse some [rescue] process started after that message:
clear failed: Device or resource busy
graphic mode failed: Device or resource busy

is this a special process only in alexW images or can i find it in other images too?? and how to activate it?

Thanks again both for helping me! 8)

Hi,

as far as i know there is no special process, all images are based on the same tuxbox-cvs. AlexW-Images are rather old because AlexW has retired from the image build process.

What is diference between Enigma and Neutrino?
It is very confusing; too many images, too many settings... :-?

There are a lot of legale images that you could try, but unfortunately all of these images need to configure the network after the first boot. No chance without working LCD.

Enigma and Neutrino are both graphical user interfaces, a matter of taste...

Yes, cool!

Now you can check the ip-address by d-box-key > Einstellungen > Netzwerk
