AFAIK it's not possible because it contains several filesystems. You can only handle the cdk.cramfs with tools like cramfsck/mkcramfs...

only (first byte in cram a "E=Í( " ) for alex base image 1.5

in new wersion baseimage first byte in cram a "(Í=E " )
how create a cram for base image 1.6

base 1_5 "E=Í( Compressed ROMFS"
