Nokia 2xI Lade ...

Hallo,

folgendes Problem:

Meine Nokia DBox 2 mit 2 x Intel Flash ließ sich problemlos in den Debug-Modus bringen, der Schreibschutz war bereits aufgehoben. Auch das Auslesen und Flashen von Images ist möglich. Diese werden jedoch nicht gestartet. Die Box bleibt bei Lade ... stehen, keine Ausgabe auf dem TV-Schirm. Derzeit habe ich das aktuelle AlexW-Baseimage V1.6.10 auf der Box. Wo liegt das Problem?

Ich habe jetzt doch wieder ein Image aufspiele können. Das Problem ist aber geblieben.

Hmmm?

Oben hast Du ein fehlerfreies Flash-Log geliefert. Wieso kann die Box davon nicht booten und ein Log davon liefern?

Keine Ahnung.
Mal kann ich ein Image flashen, das bleibt aber bei Lade ... stehen.
Dann funktioniert es wieder nicht, der Flashvorgang wird nicht gestartet. Oder aber nach ein paar mal Reset kommt plötzlich "Kein System".
Ich weiß echt nicht mehr woran es hängt.
Hardwarefehler?

Aha, nachdem Du den Beitrag editiert hast steht auch was aussagefähiges drin.

"Board_EventWait: timed out" und "debug: unknown demodulator" lassen nix gutes ahnen. Da liegt auf jeden Fall ein HW-Defekt vor.

Du hast einen Buggy Nokia. Habe leider auch noch einen davon hierstehen.

Wenn du einigemale die Box resettest, dann kriegste die Meldung "unknown demodulator"

Da hilft nur Stecker raus und rein.

Also am besten nicht vorne an den Tasten resetten sondern die Box Stromlos machen.

Welche Art von Defekt liegt da vor? Ich meine, wenn es mir gelingt ein lauffähiges Linux-Image aufzuspielen, kann ich die Box dann normal nutzen, oder ist ein Betrieb nicht mehr möglich?

Da musste Homar fragen, wie er diese Box zum Leben erweckt.

Ich reparier sowas lieber

In diesem Fall kann der Fehler aber bis zur CPU gehen - Reparatur dann nicht möglich/wirtschaftlich.

Meine Box lüppt einwandfrei im normalen Betrieb, nur musse halt beachten, das du nicht wahllos resetten kannst über die Fronttasten.

Box läuft mit AlexW-Image!

Nach dem flashen muß man die Box abstecken und mind. 10 Minuten warten. Dann startet sie einwandfrei. Ebenso beim runterfahren, erst wenn sie eine Zeit lang stromlos war, bootet sie wieder.
