I'm afraid you have to change the settings in the config file /var/tuxbox/config/zapit/zapit.conf by hand.
In this file you will find the entries lnb0_OffsetLow and lnb0_OffsetHigh with corresponding values (lnb0_OffsetHigh is 10600000 by default).
Use telnet + vi to change it within the box or use ftp and a unix-compatible editor of your choice.

Best regards.

In this case you have a very old image on your dbox2.
You should update. -> http://dboxupdate.berlios.de

You will also find informations how to update.
Baseimage and cramfs update is recommended.

Thanx rasc, i used Dbox bootmanger to reloaded the latest image from the link u provide (alexW2xBaseimageV1.6.10> 22-Jul-2003 )and updated the cdk.cramfs (22-Jul-2003 10:14)

I am getting the same information as before when i look in /var/tuxbox/config/zapit/zapit.conf

Is there another way around this..i did try the telent method had the busybox shell come up and typed following in the command line vi but get following response --> " No file" line 1 of 1 --100%--

thanx

Well try booting the dbox, switching the channel and then shutting down the box.
After the next start, there should be more information in that file (zapit only writes the information when it shuts down).
By the way, vi expects the name of a file to edit as first argument - yet if you have never used before, you will need an introduction to this text editor very badly.

well guy'z i tryed everything above and the same result , cannot get to the lnb0_OffsetHigh values, and atleast i got the vi command working this time :) and it open the zapit.conf file but saw the same two values. I think i'll give Neutrino image a miss at the moment, till a image with menu option appears or some1 with the same lnboffset uploads an image i hope :D but i did try ENIGMA and that worked fine with my lnb.so it's not all great loss

Thanx for all the help

Well - I took a closer look into the code and got to admit - you are right. Values that are unchanged from the default are not added to the config file.
Hence simply add a the following line and try again.

Code: Alles auswählen

lnb0_OffsetHigh=10750000

Inserted the command line lnb0_OffsetHigh=10750000 in zapit.conf via ftp and telnet both methods did not reslove the problem :(

You have to hard-reset the dbox2 after editing the config file.
Do not power it down by remote control, because this would overwrite the
zapit.conf.
