Philips: Display hell im Menü / sonst dunkel

Hallo,

Ich habe gestern das aktuellen Release von AlexW auf eine DB2 von Philips gepackt.

Box funktioniert soweit auch ganz gut - nur mit dem Display gibt's Probleme:

Debug-Meldung
-> nur mit Taschenlampe lesbar; Hintergrundbeleuchtung ist an; Kontrast zu gering???

U-Boot-Meldung
-> lesbar

Neutrino Senderanzeige
-> siehe Debug-Meldung; nicht zu gebrauchen

Neutrino Menü's
-> alles Bestens

Einstellungen an Kontrast/Helligkeit/Auto-Dimm bringen nur im Menü Veränderungen. Im Normalbetrieb ist das Display einfach nicht zu gebrauchen.

Ein Image von Anfang 2003 bringt das selbe Ergebnis. Unter BN xxx ist das Display zwar auch nicht die Wucht, aber zumindest ablesbar.

Man kann feststellen, dass das Display beim umschalten kurz heller/kontrastreicher wird und dann sofort wieder unlesbar...

Kennt jemand den Grund für dieses dämliche verhalten?

Helligkeit/Kontrast wird vom Frontprozessor geregelt, das LCD selber hängt direkt an der CPU.

Also haben wir 3 Kandidaten, 2 davon kann man relativ einfach tauschen - anderes LCD anstöpseln (einfach), anderen FP einlöten (weniger einfach).

Hallo,

an einen Hardwaredefekt kann ich eigentlich nicht glauben. Wie schon beschrieben: Solange ich im Neutrino-Menü bin, ist die Darstellung auf dem LCD einwandfrei. Nur im Normalbetrieb kann es nicht abgelesen werden.

Schaltet Neutrino irgendwas an Helligkeit/Kontrast um, wenn das Menü aufgerufen wird? Wäre eine Erklärung ...
