My Dbox 2 Sagem 1x worked well, but when we wanted to setup Thor
everything went wrong. We don et have access to any channels anymore. One or two works, he just don et seem to find the transponders when we search. We eve tried different lists, and different software. Nothing helps.
I can et get any help here in Sweden, there are no boxes on the market, and nobody knows anythig. When we try with another reciever (analogue)the lnb es are in the right positions. We have a swich diseqc 1.0, which we eaven turned off, to see if we can get any signal with just one LNB, but nothing there. Only viva polish and tv polonia.
What is wrong...???????

Try some measurements: does the lnb-port still provide 13/18V and 22KHz?

If not, the LNBK/LNBP on the Tuner-PCB is "gone" and has to be replaced.

He does have 13/18, but on some channels ther is 15, 21 and so on.
He has 21v when i search.. he finds channels on eutelsat 7.0, but for example not at eutelsat 13.0.

15 and 21V ist not normal.

22KHz kan be measured with a good multimeter or oscilloscope.

can he still find some channels althougt it es broken..??
wich part tells the reciever on which frequiencies to search. it looks that he only search on a certain range of frequencies.
He find everything with a frequence under 11500

The LNBK/LNBP is only the powersupply, not the tuner/frontend itself.

Without 22KHz, it can only tune in the low-band from 10,7GHz to 11,7GHz - not the high-band from 11,7GHz to 12,75GHz.

It does not look like you know much about the technical details, so I would suggest to have the box repaired instead doing it yourself.

i ordered the lnbk from kovacs in germany, and i will ask the local tv service to put it in for me.
They don et seem to exist here in Sweden. Only you of all the sites i eve been to told me this.. everybody told me to flash, and change channellist.
