Kein Fernsehbild und gelegentlich gruenes Bild und Absturz

Hallo,

seit gestern bin ich stolzer Besitzer einer Dbox2 von Nokia (Sat). Ich habe sie über Ebay bei einem gewissen DVB-Shop betellt. Es sollte Linux schon fertig auf der Box installiert sein. Leider bekomme ich kein Bild zu stande. Das so Funktionen wie Streaming über Netzwerk schwierig sein werden und gedult bei der Einstellung erfordern habe ich mir im Netz ja schon angelesen. Das man aber in der Grundversion noch nicht einmal ein Fersehlivebild auf den Bildschirm bekommt stimmt mich aber doch ein wenig nachdenklich.

Hier das Phänomän:

Nokia sat Box2 mit 500er Chip
Drauf ist JTG 2.0.0 mit snapshot vom 14.12.2004 (sagt die Box zumindest beim Booten)
Wenn ich die Programm hoch-/runtertasten tippe bekomme ich den jeweiligen Sendernamen und nach kurzer Zeit auch die EPG informationen eingeblendet. Da gerade auf ARD ein aktueller Brennpunkt um 20:15 angezeigt wird sind die EPG Daten also auch aktuelle. Eine Verbindung zum Satelliten besteht also. Netzwerk habe ich auch konfiguriert bekommen und ich kann von meinem PC aus telnet und ftp machen. Auch der http zugriff funktioniert. Nur ist halt kein Fernsehbild und auch kein Ton da. Ich habe hier schon viel gelesen über "schwarzes Bild" bei Primiere. Bei mir gehts aber nur ganz einfach um FTA. Oder brauche ich auch dazu eine Karte im Slot? Im Verzeichniss ucodes sind auch die vier Dateien von den mann immer liest enthalten. Wenn ich ein wenig herumzappe (ich weiss, wenig sinnvoll ohne Bild) kann es in unregelmäßigen Abständen passieren, das das Hintergrundbild gruen wird, und dann geht nichts mehr. Nur noch Stecker ziehen hilft.

DVB-Shop reagiert weder per email noch auf ein Fax noch geht jemand ans Telefon. Ihr seit also meine letzte Hoffnung. Ansonsten bleibt nur: Einpacken und zurückschicken.

Poste mal bitte ein Bootlog. Im Zweifelsfall würde ich den Kaufvertrag wandeln bei diesem Verhalten.

danke er einmal für die schnelle Antwort. So wie ich das sehe brauch ich ein Nullmodemkabel um ein Bootlog zu erstellen oder gibt es eine andere Möglichkeit? Ich werde mal suchen ob ichnoch eins rumfliegen habe. Ich hatte die Box ja extra mir Linux gekauft, da ich nicht noch mit Nullmodemkabel anfangen wollte.

Die cam-alpha ist nicht up-to-date, das könnte evtl. Probleme mit Premiere geben. Ein Nullmodemkabel ist bei Linux@dbox2 eigentlich sowieso unerläßlich, das solltest Du dir schon noch zulegen

Na ich habe hier alles durchgesucht. Ich befürchte ich habe das Nullmodemkabel mal irgentwann entsorgt. Werde morgen bei der Arbeit mal unseren IP-Menschen fragen of die noch so was haben.

Ich sehe das doch aber richtig so, das die Cam-Alpha Version keine Auswirkung haben dürfte, da ich Primiere gar nicht aboniert habe (und auch nicht gucken will).

Ich melde mich mal wieder wenn ich einNullmodemkabel aufgetreiben habe.

Die konsequente Variante ist natürlich, die Kiste zurückzuschicken. Was mir zu denken gibt, ist das grüne Bild, das Du gelegentlich kriegts.

Das schaffe ich nur, wenn ich meine Ucodes lösche.

Nicht daß da was kaputt ist.

O.K. ihr habt gewonnen. Ich werde die Box zurückschicken.

Heute habe ich Rechner und Box mit einem Nullmodekabel verbunden. Ergebniss:

die Box zeigt am Fernseher nur noch scharz weises Geflacker und im Display beibt unten "Laden ..." stehen. Sonst tut sich nichts mehr. Auf dem Com-Terminal des Bootmanagers steht unter anderem so ein lustiger Satz wie

"Warning: the CPU has silicon bugs "

Ich denke das ist ein Fall für die Garantie.

Hallo,

also so langsam verstehe ich nichts mehr. Heute morgen habe ich die Box angeschaltet und siehe da, sie fährt normal hoch und ich komme wieder bis zur Anzeige der Sender, naürlich weiterhin ohne Fernsehbild. Also dachte ich mir, gut wenn sie nun also wieder hoch fährt kann ich ja über das Nullmodemkabel noch mal ein Bootlog auslesen. Also Box ausgeschaltet, Nullmodemkabel angeschlosse und Bootmanager gestartet und com-port angeschaltet. Und was soll ich sagen. Mit angeschlossenem Nullmodemkabel bleibt die Box wieder bei "Laden..." im Display hangen und ich bekomme kein Bild auf dem Fernseher (nicht mal die Menues). Hier das Bootlog:

das mit dem nochmalnochmaln... geht solange weiter bis ich der Box den Strom wegnehme. Erst wenn ich das Nullmodemkabel herausziehe und einige Minuten warte bevor ich die Box wieder an Strom anschließe fährt sie wieder hoch. Nach wie vor allerdings kein Fernsehbild und gelegentlich einfrieren mit grünem Hintergrund.

Übrigens IP 192.168.0.99 ist die Box IP 192.168.0.1 mein PC.

Scheinbar versucht der Bootmanager ein flash an die Box zu schicken. Da ist was falsch konfiguriert.

"BootP / TFTP - Server starten" deaktivieren. Es darf nur der COM-Port geöffnet werden für ein Bootlog.

Bis auf das etwas ältere Image kann ich da nichts außergewöhnliches erkennen. Ein Fehler ist in dem Log jedenfalls nicht zu sehen.

nur der vollständigkeit halber. Die Box ist umgetauscht worden. Bermerkung vom Verkäufer: "Chasis getauscht". Was auch immer das heist? Nun habe ich ein Fernsehbild so wie es sich gehört.

Richtig, weil früher die Hauptplatine immer in einem stabilen Metallrahmen eingebaut war. Das endete dann mit der Einführung von umgangssprachlich so genannten "Schlabberchassis".
