Waiting on time error

Just recieved a nokia dbox. Flashed it and now whenever I try to watch any channel including ordinary bbc, itv etc I get waiting on time along the bottom with a blank screen behind. Then error loading channel.

Any ideas??

Do you receive any other channels (radio or tv)?

What does the technical info show on your screen (red - blue - key).
Check for BER, SNR and SIG.

I don't get a signal at all

i think maybe that either the signal is too weak/strong or the box's tuner is not working...

yep, both possible.

If the box is a satellite box, check diseqc settings.
Otherwise check cables (try another STB on that cable, etc.).

Are you getting any values SIG/BER values (week signal)?

This is from a working box only a couple of miles away. Telewest so you know

ber 320 snr 61489 sig 38807 / freq = 427006 790mhz

Anybody have any ideas?. Im at a loss tonight..

Only thing that stands out is frequency. Can this be adjusted at all??
