MAJOR FLASHING PROBLEMS - PLS HELP!

Hi,
My boyfriend bought a dbox2 (nokia) from ebay & has been working through the tutorial's to get it up & running. He's having problems flashing his new image to the box. It is all transeferring from PC but the box does not seem to be reading it at all.

Is there any chance the box is somehow write protected & if so can the protection be disabled.

In desperate need of help if anyone can.

Please have a read here as this has an english section/tutorial on how to flash your Box.

The Box must be in Debug Mode (lots of Numbers and Letters when you turn the Box on LCD).

If I recall correctely from your last post that got deleted as you asked for illegal contents the box was already in Debug mode.

Just use ImageFlashingAssistant to flash the box with an Image you cannot get from here !!

Thanks for the reply. I will have a look at the information you suggest. Sorry, I didn't realise my last post was asking for anything illegal.

They are at the top of the English Section in here...

Because our board rules are written in German language (FAQ section), here is a short list:

- no illegal topics here!

- don't ask for uCodes, they are (c) and may not be distributed.

- Dbox2 officially supports FreeTV and BetaCrypt decoding, only.

- No discussion about this rules.

Any post/thread containing illegal content will be removed!
This also includes naming of illegal topics/images.

Please, be so kind to obey the board rules...

(otherwise we probably would have an ongoing discussion whether a post is within the rules or not and why...)
