Problem

Beitrag von t67 »

Well first n foremost apologies for my first thread and hope someone can help me here...I have a x2 nokia and it seems to keep sticking on loading kernel.I have tried several different images and still the same problem persists.I have used both the IFA and also bootmanager to flash the box and still hangs on this. Here is the bootlog for it with a YADI image loaded
Any help would be grateful and apologies again for my earlier thread.

Did you flash the right Image?

If yes, please post a log from the flashing procedure.

PS: You must take a 2x Image. Try this one: http://yadi.org/disclaimer.php?file=200 ... ead_2x.img

If you really flashed a Yadi (you removed the Image-Info from the Flash-Log) your box seems to be defective.

Can be anything. Maybe RAM, maybe CPU - impossible to be more specific with this kind of error.

This part is interesting after initial flash...

VFS: Mounted root (squashfs filesystem) readonly.
Oops: kernel access of bad area, sig: 11

Looks like a bad flash or memory maybe ?...

And i notice this on your regular boot sequence,

U-Boot 1.1.2 (Tuxbox) (May 26 2005 - 16:37:05)

~Warning CPU core has silicone bugs~

I would have a look at the MB CPU Flash and memory devices, if you have access to a repair resource try getting these devices re-soldered or replaced.

Just an idea :P

If you do need any spare parts then please let me know. I do own a Nokia 2xI Bmon 1.0 mainboard which I do not need anymore. Even though the power supply is broken the flashes, the cpu and so on are still in a very good condition.
