S-Video

Is it possible (if so how) to get S-Video up earlier than the GUI ? I have put "saa -s" into the RcS file but its still not early enough to see the boot logo in colour. (I have to use S-Video as only 1 RGB port on TV and thats used for something more important).

Secondly, my Tv routes a signal back through the Scart on the dbox (still talking tv scart, not vcr scart) but this is routed as black and white using S-Video on the dbox. Is it possible to display this routed signal in colour ?

(Box is a 2xI Nokia AVIA500 if it makes any difference).

Might be worth Emailing/PM Barf as he played with the DBox Video Out Hardware a lot more ..

For the first question, it is a question on boot-up. Presently, bootup is, as far as I am aware, 4:3 CVBS only.

Second question: it is true that one of the pins on the TV SCART is a video input. Please read this article to see if it answers any of your questions.
