debug with null modem cable only

Hi All,
first post here so i hope i get it right.
I have a nokia dbox2 with 2 intel flash that is not in the debug mode and is stuck on the lade screen.i have tried the normal debug method but it will not work i want to put it in debug mode using hyper terminal and null modem cable only. is this the tutorial i need??

you probably need to flash a new image to it using ifa m8
