This is a question to the DVB developers. I wonder if it is possible to delay the entire processing of a channel transportstream by about 300-400ms. This implies buffering data in RAM during this period and then after the delay period start the processing (like decrypting, demuxing, decoding and rendering).
Would this be possible by "faking" the system clock and subtract 300-400ms ?
Can anyone point out which part of the source code must be changed?
Thanks and Cheers,
JockyW

Needing more time for card sharing, huh?

Re: "Timeshift" a channel by 300-400ms
Simultaneous playback and record of 2 different encrypted channels on same transponder doesn't work reliably anymore. Need the "timeshift" for that. A dreambox Enigma2 version seems to have support for what I want. I am investigating the sourcecode so sooner or later there will be a solution for my dbox2. From your reply it appears to me that it should be a private solution or am I wrong with that? ...Nirvana hat geschrieben:Needing more time for card sharing, huh?
