We make an encoder / modulator. We are trying to add our transport streams to the freeview channels that are already available. I believe that we need to format our SDT correctly so that it refers to all of the existing freeview transport streams, plus our transport streams and make sure that the TV's find us first when they scan. Otherwise, if they find us first, they ignore the freeview channels, and if they find freeview first, they don't find our channels.

Is this the correct approach? Or should we be sending a BAT? Or forcing customers to do a manual scan?

Since I am in the US and our customers could be anywhere in the world, I was wondering how I could go about getting samples of the SDT (and the NIT) for existing installations wherever we might have customers?
